The most notable peak from my living room window is Nch’ Kay’. It is a massive and beautiful stratovolcano. I adore seeing the alpine glow on it’s south face. Nch’ Kay’ is the traditional name given to this geological formation by the Skwxwú7mesh people. It’s name translates to ‘Dirty Water’ as volcanic ash is washed away by the Cheekeye River.
